Commander Marvin has been a life member of Rush County VFW Post #3147 since July of 1968 and also a Gold Legacy Life member.
Served as Post #3147 Quartermaster 2005 to present, District Chaplain , District Inspector, District Commander (3 Times) and Past State Commander 2016-2017.
Gerald earned his eligibility in 1968 aboard the USS Enterprise in the Gulf of Tonkin earning the Vietnam Service Medal and Vietnam Campaign Medal.
